today i drew a picture. I like pencil again. I want to do my film in 2d :( 

Heres a little mock up of what the beginning of the film may look like. it was to just give me an idea of the timings that were needed for the shos and wether or not they could be read right . its here

heres the Dino and his rig. Today i'm going to bind him and paint his weighting on the rig and hopefully do his blend shapes so he should be finished by the end of today.. actually, maybe tomorrow dinner time he'll be finished by, i forgot i'm at work tonight
 

So here we are... I have rendered off what i had of animation on the opening shot, the animation ahs been improved since, but it was for me to see how it would look, you can see it here if you wish.... Opening shot test (if you type that as one word its openingshottest which sounds funny)

ooh and also today we have a test of compositing. I had to copy the camera across into a new scene of the town. I then greenscreened a playblast to check the camera movements work, its here.... camera test

Dino Model so far. poor chap has no lower jaw, but he's getting there, should be finished by friday.

Old amn in a car (there're alot of old people and i blame modern medicine...) his car is going to turn into a spaceship, i hope that makes him happy 

Final 2 months

Sooo, as we enter the final 2 months of production i thought it would be a good time to start a blogg because apparently its 'easier' than updating a website continuously. so here it is and here i am...
